Clean water is something that we all take for granted. We turn the tap and there it is. however, 783 million people have to live without access to clean water. That’s one in nine people on the planet.

From as little as 83p a day, our water projects can rebuild communities by providing clean, safe drinking water. This means that communities can:

• Reduce hunger through giving them food security
•    Improve health through reduced sickness. People suffering from water-related diseases fill one in five hospital beds in the world.
• Improve a community. Each year, 40 billion hours are lost due to water collection in Sub-Saharan Africa alone, where the job falls on women and girls. Time could be spent in work or school.
