The SOV Gambia Project’s mission is to construct a new village complex where needy children can live safely and without fear. Our new village will help the orphans of west Africa & The Gambia who have otherwise been abandoned and left to die. We can change their future.
Our SOV Gambia provides a loving home for the neediest children in West Africa. We have completed phase one of SOV Gambia and are now working on phase two. We have started to build energy efficient and eco-friendly Street Orphans Village in The Gambia.
Our SOV Gambia will promote conservation of resources, consider environmental impact and reduce waste. It will also incorporate solar panels, energy efficient windows and heat recovery to ensure that our homes have a positive impact on the environment.
From as little as £1 a day, you can make a genuine difference to a child’s life, without which our villages couldn’t provide the much-needed support that they do, you can help us to build an eco-friendly SOV Gambia for street children.
Our SOV will provide state-of-the-art educational facilities such as Primary School, Secondary School, bedsit for 2000 orphans, state-of-the-art Hospital – comprises of all major depts. that are able to provide a full range of inpatient, outpatient, diagnostic and rehabilitation and day services. Facilities include A&E Dept. acute admissions unit, assessment facilities for the children & elderly, Pharmacy, operating rooms (ORs). The new facility will also houses special areas for Amebiasis-Hookworm-Polio-Dengue-Jaundice-Sickle Cell-Ebola-Leishmaniasis-Syphilis-Giardiasis-Lymphatic Filariasis-Trypanosomiasis-Guinea-Worm-Malaria-Tuberculosis, Cancer-gastrointestinal disease, neuroscience, surgery and imaging MRI, CT, X-ray area, Dentist, Paediatric Clinic, Consultant Rooms, Therapy Rooms. As well as SOV Sports & Athletics Stadium, Theatre – comprises of cycling studio, Aquatic Centre – Swimming pool area – adults & Children separate, Running tracks, Sports halls, Tennis courts, Badminton, basketball, Gymnastics Centre, & football pitch.
