£1 may not stretch very far here in the UK however from as little as £1 a day, you can transform the life of an orphaned or abandoned child, giving them the love and support they need.

 Every 18 seconds a child becomes an orphan in the world, as you can imagine, this brings with it uncertainty, turmoil and confusion. The UN estimates that there are over 150 Million children living on the streets, a shocking figure in such advanced times. Conflict, diseases such as AIDS, natural disasters, and other factors all contribute to this huge figure. At Street Orphans we are working to reduce this figure every day, however we can’t do this alone and need your support to keep our mission going!

Street children are more susceptible to economic hardship, withdrawal from school, psychological distress, physical or sexual abuse, malnutrition, and exploitation. And at Street Orphans we are continuously battling against these tragedies to provide a safe and secure future for children in our care.
